The attack on a Pittsburgh synagogue in 2018 that killed 11—
…marked an escalation in the seriousness of antisemitism in America. More lethal attacks followed in 2019, and the overall number of antisemitic incidents has since grown steadily.
However, the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas War has opened the floodgates of American antisemitic acts, including vandalism, harassment, hate speech, anti-Israel protests on college campuses, and public calls for the annihilation of the state of Israel.
In this episode of the EmpowerU podcast we’ll speak with several American Jews — a student, a parent, and a community leader — about how this rise in American antisemitism is impacting their lives, and what can be done to stop it.
