Join Dr. Jay Rissover and sample some excellent FREE coffee samples from La Terza, the Artisan Coffee Roasterie. You will explore a bit about coffee, from its discovery to its American adoption to the latest research on this amazing beverage. It once was feared as a cause of heart attacks and strokes but the latest research has proven some surprising reversals in this now trendy, tasty and surprisingly healthy beverage.
Also speaking will be Dave Gains, who is the Chief Visionary at La Terza. He will tell you a bit about the creation of the wonderful coffee you have sampled made from right here in Lockland.
Dr. Jay Rissover has been in practice in Cincinnati since 1989 in general Internal Medicine. He is the Senior Physician at Blue Ash Internal Medicine on Glendale-Milford Rd. He is also Director of Inpatient Medicine at the TriHealth Hospital Evendale and is a teaching attending for the Bethesda Family Practice Residency at Bethesda North Hospital. He is a second generation physician, married with two adult children and one dog. Dr Rissover is active in the Jewish Community and his favorite charity is the Cincinnati Chicken Soup Cook-Off. He likes Science Fiction, archery, fencing, juggling, good food, movies, music and keeping physically fit. He enjoys public speaking and has spoken at Empower U, Health Fairs and on multiple radio and TV programs.
