Jay Groenke

Jay Groenke has more than 30 years of business experience in sales, marketing, IT technical support, and business management. Jay's career experience includes successful assignments with information services companies including Burroughs and Electronic Data Systems. He established and built, with a partner, a successful computer software training business, and founded, staffed and supervised a contracted help desk operation for a local billion dollar corporation (Cincinnati Bell Telephone) in a LAN/WAN oriented PC environment. Jay has extensive experience with matching automated information systems to specific business needs. He was a member of the original EmpowerU concept development group, and brings a combination of communications and marketing skills, and Internet information delivery experience to the team. Jay is a Cincinnati native, and passionately believes in the EmpowerU vision to engage and educate a growing number of informed citizens.
